چکیده
Weizmannia coagulans (formerly Bacillus coagulans) is a spore-forming and lactic acid-producing bacterium. It has recently attracted much attention from researchers food manufacturers due to its probiotic functions stability in processing storage. Spores, germinated cells metabolites modulate micro-environment further affect other organs. an environment-friendly since it can contribute host by reconstructing balance microbiota only temporarily resides intestine after administration. been generally recognized as safe (GRAS) US Food Drug Administration (FDA), thus ideal for health. The merit storage provides spores many possibilities use various types functional food. This review presents overview characteristics that make candidate highlights proposed benefits with scientific evidence conferred administration coagulans.

Probiotics for Gut Health
Infectious diarrhoea is an intestinal disturbance caused by a pathogenic microbe. One of the body's responses to such an infection is to try to flush the microbe out of the intestine. This occurs by water flowing from the body into the intestinal space and by increased intestinal muscle contractions. With more water in the intestine and the content travelling more quickly, the person experience...
متن کاملThe Effect of Probiotic and Prebiotic Feed Supplementation on Chicken Health and Gut Microflora: A Review
Commercial poultry production is ranked among the highest source of animal protein in the world. Microbial infections caused by bacteria (Salmonella, Clostridium perfringes) and parasites particularly Eimeria has continued to challenge the poultry industry. Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGP) have been traditionally used to counter microbial infections in poultry. But due to public health concern...
متن کاملProbiotic lactic acid bacteria – the fledgling cuckoos of the gut?
It is tempting to look at bacteria from our human egocentric point of view and label them as either 'good' or 'bad'. However, a microbial society has its own system of government - 'microcracy' - and its own rules of play. Lactic acid bacteria are often referred to as representatives of the good ones, and there is little doubt that those belonging to the normal intestinal flora are beneficial f...
متن کاملProbiotic legacy effects on gut microbial assembly in tilapia larvae
The exposure of fish to environmental free-living microbes and its effect on early colonization in the gut have been studied in recent years. However, little is known regarding how the host and environment interact to shape gut communities during early life. Here, we tested whether the early microbial exposure of tilapia larvae affects the gut microbiota at later life stages. The experimental p...
